Political Advocacy

BWOPA activates motivates, promotes, supports and educate African-American Women about the political process and to encourage their involvement. To affirm our commitment, the Hayward/South Alameda County Chapter members are attending the meetings of the governmental agencies listed below. Our goal is to have the opportunity to express our opinions regarding the issues and influence a positive decision for our communities in these meetings.  Please click on the link associated with the agency or board to learn the dates and times of the particular meeting if you would like to join.
